A steam locomotive will leave Bristol with a visit to Shrewsbury this Wednesday

Either 70,000 Britannia or 34,046 Braunton will headline a tour in Shrewsbury this Wednesday August 10, 2022.

The tour starts at Birmingham International with a diesel locomotive. Departing Birmingham at 05:18, the tour will stop at Coventry (05:29), Leamington Spa (05:54), Banbury (06:16), Oxford (06:53), Swindon (08:02), Bath Spa (08:32) and Bristol Temple Meads at 08:51 .

Now with the steam locomotive attached, the tour will depart Bristol Temple Meads at 9.13am and travel via Patchway (9.27am), Severn Tunnel Junction (9.42am), Abergavenny (10.42am), Hereford (11.13am), Craven Arms (12.38pm) and Shrewsbury at 1:05 p.m.

After the hour in Shrewsbury, the train will depart at 3.46pm and pass through Craven Arms (4.16pm), Hereford (4.52pm), Hereford (4.52pm), Abergavenny (6.01pm), Severn Tunnel Junction (6.47pm), Filton Abbey Wood (7.04pm) and Bristol Temple Meads (7:13 p.m. – diesel transported from here), Bath Spa (7:47 p.m.), Swindon (8:23 p.m.), Oxford (9:21 p.m.), Banbury (9:50 p.m.), Leamington Spa (10:22 p.m.), Coventry (10:51 p.m.) and Birmingham International at 11:14 p.m.
