A steam locomotive will pass through Dawlish this Saturday
70000 Britannia or 34046 Braunton are expected to carry part of the English Riviera Express this Saturday August 6, 2022.
The tour starts in Wolverhampton at 06:40 with a diesel locomotive and will pass through Tame Bridge Parkway (06:53), Stourbridge Junction (07:33), Kidderminster (07:46), Droitwich Spa (08:01), Worcester Shrub Hill (08:13), Cheltenham Spa (08:39) , Bristol Parkway (9.32am), Bristol Temple Meads (9.47am), Taunton (10.28am) and Norton Fitzwarren at 10.34am.
Here, the steam locomotive takes over from the train. Departing Norton Fitzwarren at 10.59am, the train will continue via Tiverton Parkway (11.15am), Exeter St Davids (11.35am), Dawlish Warren (11.52am), Paignton (12.32pm) and Kingswear at 1.15pm.
After the hour at Kingswear, the train will depart at 4.35pm passing through Paignton (5.21pm), Newton Abbot (5.41pm), Dawlish (5.51pm), Exeter St Davids (6.17pm), Taunton (7.21pm – Diesel transported from here), Bristol Temple Meads (8:12 p.m.), Bristol Parkway (8:26 p.m.), Cheltenham Spa (2:24 a.m.), Worcester Shrub Hill (9:49 p.m.), Droitwich Spa (10:09 p.m.), Kidderminster (10:31 p.m.), Stourbridge Junction (10:45 p.m.), Tame Bridge Parkway (11:19 p.m. ) and Wolverhampton at 11:34 p.m.
