A steam locomotive will pass through Exeter this Saturday

70000 Britannia or 34046 Braunton are scheduled to carry part of the English Riviera Express this Saturday July 2, 2022.

The tour starts in Poole with a diesel locomotive. Departing Poole at 06.35, the train will pass through Bournemouth (06.46), Brockenhurst (07.15), Southampton Central (07.37), Eastleigh (07.53), Romsey (08.32), Salisbury (08.59), Warminster (09.22), Westbury (09.33). ), Taunton (10.25am) and Norton Fitzwarren at 10.33am.

Here, the steam locomotive takes over from the train. Departing Norton Fitzwarren at 10.59am, the train will continue via Tiverton Parkway (11.15am), Exeter St Davids (11.35am), Dawlish Warren (11.52am), Paignton (12.32pm) and Kingswear at 1.15pm.

After the hour at Kingswear, the train will depart at 4.35pm passing through Paignton (5.21pm), Newton Abbot (5.41pm), Dawlish (5.51pm), Exeter St Davids (6.17pm), Taunton (7.18pm – diesel transported from here), Castle Cary (19:43), Westbury (20:03), Warminster (20:26), Salisbury (20:50), Romsey (21:23), Eastleigh (21:42), Southampton Central (22: 00), Brockenhurst (10:18 p.m.), Bournemouth (10:39 p.m.) and Poole at 10:57 p.m.
