Llangollen Railway Press Officer Terry Pickthall said: “We are very pleased to see 68067 arrive with us after a difficult season. Repairs to our resident locomotives ran into problems and took longer than expected, leaving us without a steam engine at the height of our season. Although our railcars and diesel locomotives have done a superb job of filling the gap, steam traction is at the heart of what we do and is still very popular with our visitors. We are very grateful to the owners of the locomotive and the whole team at Great Central Railway who made it possible to visit 68067. Everyone did their utmost to deliver the engine to us in time for the weekend. holiday end, which is always busy for us”.
