Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway to welcome steam locomotive based in Bury

Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railways have announced they will host L&Y A Class No 52322.

Owned by Andy Booth, this popular locomotive is usually based at the East Lancashire Railway.

Once the locomotive arrives (to be confirmed), it will haul trains on the heritage railway during the summer months.

The hope is that the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway can couple the locomotive with their newly restored L&Y Directors Saloon coach.
