Steam locomotive 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley will visit Wrexham and Shrewsbury this Tuesday
60007 Sir Nigel Gresley returns to the main line this Tuesday as he carries out a load test on the LSL circuit.
The LNER A4 is set to operate between Crewe and Shrewsbury on Tuesday as its return to the main line continues. The day before, Monday 16 May, 60007 will operate between Crewe and Chester (timetables for these can be found here).
Departing Crewe HS at 9.30am, 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley will pass through Crewe (9.54am), Chester (10.39am), Wrexham General (11.00am), Gobowen (11.14am), Shrewsbury (11.40am), Coton Hill TC (11.55am), Shrewsbury (12.47pm) , Wellington (1.05pm), Penkridge (2.52pm), Stafford (3.00pm) and Crewe at 3.30pm.
