Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower will visit Bath this Thursday

Steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower will be on the main line again this Thursday, May 26, 2022, as it hauls a special railtour to Bath Spa.

Leaving Shoeburyness at 6.48 a.m., the train, currently transported on dieselwill pass through Southend East (06:55), Leigh-on-Sea (07:07), Tilbury Town (07:29), Purfleet (07:37), Dagenham Dock (07:44), Barking (07:55) , Leyton Midland Road (08:11), South Tottenham (08:20), West Hampstead Thameslink (09:03), Acton Mainline (09:20), Southall (09:31 – Mayflower added to train here), Slough (10:29 a.m.), Reading (10:48 a.m.), Didcot Parkway (11:07 a.m.), Swindon (12:20 p.m.), Chippenham (12:48 p.m.) and Bath Spa at 1:03 p.m.

After the hour in Bath, the train will depart at 4.56pm and pass through Chippenham (5.11pm), Reading (7.15pm), Slough (7.42pm), Hanwell Bridge Loop (7.59pm – Mayflower replaced by Diesel here), Acton Main Line (8.54pm), West Hampstead (9.09pm), Leyton Midland Road (9.38pm), Barking (9.48pm), Southend Central (10.37pm), Southend East (10.43pm) and Shoeburyness at 10.52pm.
