Steam locomotive 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will visit Derby and York this Friday
6233 The Duchess of Sutherland is ready to be back on track, this time carrying a tour to York.
The tour begins in Tyseley with a departure time of 08:25. From here 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will visit Coleshill Parkway (8.51am), Tamworth (9.33am), Burton-on-Trent (9.52am), Derby (10.10am), Chesterfield (10.59am), Swinton (11.46am), Pontefract Baghill (12.01pm), Church Fenton (12:51 p.m.) and York at 1:13 p.m.
Here, 6233 Duchess of Sutherland is removed from the tour and the return trip is transported on diesel. Leaving York at 5.26pm, the diesel locomotive will retrace the stages of the outward journey passing through Swinton (6.19pm), Chesterfield (6.56pm), Derby (8.20pm), Burton-on-Trent (8.51pm), Tamworth (9.24pm), Coleshill Parkway (9:51 p.m.) and Tyseley Steam Trust at 10:26 p.m.
