The Royal Scot steam locomotive is due to visit Edinburgh, Newcastle and York this Sunday

Steam locomotive 46100 Royal Scot is due to return to London this Sunday June 19 after a weekend in Scotland with Steam Dreams passengers.

Departing Edinburgh at 9.15am, the steam train will pass through Prestonpans (9.28am), Dunbar (10.05am), Reston (10.42am), Berwick-upon-Tweed (10.55am), Alnmouth (12.45pm), Newcastle (1.53pm), Durham ( 2:18 p.m.), Darlington (2:42 p.m.), Thirsk (3:04 p.m.) and York at 3:38 p.m.

Here, 46100 is replaced by a diesel locomotive. Leaving York at 4.38pm, the train will return to London King’s Cross via Doncaster (5.10pm), Gainsborough Lea Road (5.43pm), Lincoln Central (6.06pm), Spalding (6.45pm), Peterborough (7.06pm), Sandy (7.47pm), Stevenage (8.10pm), Potters Bar (8.21pm), Finsbury Park (8.28pm) and London Kings Cross at 8.35pm.
